I don’t normally do this, but I’m not feeling great right now. You guys don’t have to read this and could just scroll along. If you do though, I really appreciate it. You’d be making me feel less alone and I really need that right now.

Most people don’t get to meet their heroes in real life, but he’s saved me more times than I can count, academically and emotionally. I’m too shy to put this on social media he might see this on, especially after I embarrassed myself in front of him on Friday, but I’m really just crossing fingers that what I did doesn’t ruin everything I worked so hard to build.  He knows practically everything about me, even my dumb feelings that’s causing me so much trouble with him. He became who I talk to about my problems to, especially after I told him, because he makes me feel safe, actually listens instead of trying to correct me, and gives me a pep talk and compliments that he knows calms me down since he knows how meaningful his words are to me. But, now my problem involves what I did to ruin our night out together that he was originally treating me to. Momentarily using this as a safe space right now since I just don’t feel confident to be honest as I normally am and visit him, my best friend at this university, to ask for a comfort hug. Some advice or love would be helpful, but it’s not necessary. I just am a wreck after what happened.Thanks for reading this if you did. I just want someone to listen to my story for just a moment.
